Hey tribe, this week I’m joined by the amazing Kelley Carboni Woods. Kelley is the “Peace Filled Mama” and is on a mission to empower woman and people of color in her community. We talk about the ability to create equitable access to resources for black communities and her drive to make this happen. Kelley shares her mission and story with me today.
One of the reasons I love hosting this show is because of the platform it creates for others to share their voice. It’s a gift and a pleasure to host conversations I feel should be brought to light with an open heart and an open mind. We dive deeper into the privilege of yoga and how it can be really inaccessible to those that don’t share that privilege.
Kelley drives her mission to empower the people of color community of all body types, current life situations and past to have a dedicated space for the healing of the community. Kelley lives every moment of her mission, this manifests the ability to provide to her community. As a result, creating a conversation around the privilege of yoga and the need to bring accessibility to it.
Listen and enjoy.
