PUBLIC CLASSES

A challenging blend of power and flow, infused with light-hearted spirituality, designed to inspire students to be their highest selves.

Vy Flynn

I began taking Danni’s live Zoom yoga classes. He has a gift for making difficult yoga poses accessible and helped me find a confidence in myself I didn’t know existed. I eventually sought private lessons from Danni to help manage chronic pain I’ve been struggling with. He took the time to understand my issues and help me find some tools to deal with both the physical and emotional side of my pain. With his help, I’m learning how to be aware of what’s going on inside and cope with it.

Vinyasa All Levels

A dynamic system of practicing asana, linking breath to movement. Builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration. Can be a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations. Often it can be a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting breath to their movements.

Restorative Yoga

A practice of asanas where poses are helding for longer periods of time than traditional Vinyasa classes. The pace is slower to really dial into the body. Expect sequencing to consist of six to ten poses while using props to fully support the body. The goal of restorative yoga is to rest, ground, and calm. This beneficial and gentle practice gives the mind and the body the much needed relaxation that is so often neglected.

Yoga Conditioning

Mixed practices of strength and mobility training with the principle foundations of yoga. Breath into the active relationship of physical movement and interval training while utilizing mobility enhancing props. This powerful combination challenges the body through dynamic shapes, holds, and repetition. Get ready to feel the body activate to the positive feedback flowing under the skin.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

Anu Parvatiyar

I love Danni’s classes! He blends a deep understanding of holistic yoga, a gift for teaching challenging asanas, a willingness to create and hold space for his community, and incredible authenticity in his approach to life. His classes, both online and in person, are challenging, but never demoralizing. Whether I’ve just held a handstand or spent half the class sobbing silently on the floor, I walk out with lightness and gratitude (although I may feel the soreness the next morning…). His sequencing pushes us to find strength in the way that only a good coach can, but never making us feel like our worth is tied to our ability to do a particular asana on a particular day. Danni encourages us to come as we are and bring what we have, and he’s an incredible yoga teacher because of it.

As the Bhagavad Gita says, yoga is the journey of the self through the self to the self. Danni teaches with a humility and presence that gives me the space to make that journey.

Why Private Yoga Instruction?

Private Yoga Sessions enable me to focus exclusively on what you hope to get out of your yoga practice while also meeting you at your fitness level. We’ll work with your degree of flexibility and any previous injuries or health conditions that need to be accommodated. Unlike in a group yoga class, I can personally alter a pose on the fly so that you get the maximum benefit without injury. Working one-on-one with me will also give you the opportunity to learn valuable modifications and postures to avoid re-injury. In addition, private sessions offer us the ability to adjust a workout to meet your needs for that day. And if you’re new to yoga we will prepare you for what to expect in a traditional class while learning the basics to make you feel comfortable. We can also tailor your sessions to specific goals you’re trying to achieve – physically, spiritually, mentally, or emotionally.

Private sessions are offered to you virtually through Zoom or in-person at your place, mine, or a studio.

Before you come for your session

    • Wear comfortable clothes that you would wear to exercise in. Yoga is done barefoot, so no shoes required.
    • You’ll need your own mat.
