As a yoga teacher, you would think that I was more at ease most moments. I’ll be the first to tell you that’s not true at all. I, like most people have a great deal of anxiety about many different things in life. There’s small things that could set me off and get my thoughts going into a whole bunch of situations that are far from reality or even close to happening. It happens, I’m human. Over the years, I’ve tried my best to calm down when I get into that mindset. It’s as simple as looking at my feet and reminding myself where I’m at and what’s happening at that very moment. The rest I really don’t have too much control over. We make up situations in our mind because, well sometimes it’s easier than to just have faith or believe. I think sometimes we all need a little reminder to stop giving a F*CK about the stuff that hasn’t happened yet and stay grounded in the moment we are in.
