Allison drops in today to talk about meditation, and how our life around us or the practice is actually just a piece of it. When we come into the mind, the body is also affected by it, in a positive manner. Allison, a writer for Shut Up and Yoga is also a meditation and wellness coach. Enjoy listening to share some amazing tips as well as:

  • How the distractions that arise in a meditation practice are there to help. She dives into how to let the thoughts be part of the natural process in meditation. From creating lists, or thinking about going to the grocery store; these thoughts help nourish the mind into a meditative state.
  • The joys of meditation are enjoyed while we are awake, there is also this experience when we are asleep. Tapping into a deeper connection within the parasympathetic nervous system, the rest and digest system, through intuitive meditation. Allowing the conscious thoughts to be part of the organic process.
