In my yoga classes I talk a ton about showing up and doing the work. I think sometimes we get confused as to what the work is. Most people think Vinyasa means sweaty yoga practice when in truth that has nothing to do with it. The work is about showing up and meeting yourself where you’re at on your mat (or in life) that day. It’s allowing yourself the freedom to feel if you’re have a shitty day or having what I like to call turbulance in your practice. The hardest part of yoga and the practice is showing up and unrolling your mat. Whether or not you take every chaturanga has nothing to do with it. Sometimes part of our practice is just showing up and sitting for the entire class. At the end all we have to do is show up. When we do it’s for ourselves and no one else.

See you on the mat. Much love and good vibes.
